Meet the Teacher

Hi! I'm Ms.Tabby!

About Me

Hi! My name is Tabitha Bodie, but most kids call me Ms. Tabby! I'm 22 years old and have a genuine passion for taking care of little ones. From a young age, I became an aunt to many nieces and nephews, and I quickly discovered my talent for entertaining, nurturing, and teaching young minds. Growing up in Oconee and attending Oconee County Schools from Pre-K through 12th grade gave me a strong foundation and a love for teaching. Since high school, I've been working in various childcare settings, including nurseries, daycares, schools, and homes. My years of experience with my nieces and nephews have given me a deep understanding of children's needs and how to provide the best care. I genuinely love what I do and am dedicated to using the best practices to ensure that each child receives loving care and attention. I focus on helping them grow and develop in a safe and nurturing environment. Currently, I'm studying Early Childhood Education with the goal of opening a licensed home daycare.

Parents can trust that at Little Loves Childcare, their children will be in good hands, receiving the best care and support as they grow and learn. I focus on creating a warm, loving, and stimulating environment where children feel safe and valued. I believe that every child is unique and deserves individualized attention to help them thrive. I emphasize the importance of play-based learning, where children can explore, discover, and develop their creativity and problem-solving skills. I also focus on fostering strong emotional and social development by encouraging positive interactions and teaching empathy and kindness.

At Little Loves Childcare, I am committed to building a partnership with parents, ensuring open communication, and working together to support each child's growth and development. My goal is to create a home away from home where children are excited to come each day, and parents have peace of mind knowing their little ones are in a loving and nurturing environment.

Philosophy

When caring for children, their safety and comfort are my number one priorities. I completely understand the tremendous responsibility that comes with caring for another parent’s child and take safe care practices very seriously. My childcare philosophy is rooted in the belief that children should be given the comfort and space to explore, learn, and create because this is how they grow and develop. I believe in creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe and loved. This allows them to confidently engage in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. I use the best practices in childcare to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and care tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to foster a sense of curiosity and a love for learning in every child. Furthermore, I believe that caregivers and parents should work together to create the best possible environment for their children. Open communication and collaboration between caregivers and parents are essential in ensuring that children receive consistent and supportive care both at home and in the childcare setting. At Little Loves Childcare, parents can trust that their children are in a loving and safe environment where they are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow.
